Playkot is looking for an accountant to come join our team. We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow in the field of accounting. This role will involve handling important payments and reports, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in finance.
What we entrust you with
- General accounting: bookkeeping, work with multi-currency accounts, being involved in payroll, VAT, taxation and social insurance reports.
- Invoices and reporting: issuing manual invoices for the debtors from time to time.
- Reconciliation of accounts of suppliers, customers, banks, etc. (matching payments with invoices).
- Communication with suppliers and customers about invoices and payments from time to time, mostly by emails.
- Other duties needed to assure proper accounting practices across the Cyprus group of companies.
Desired qualifications
- Graduate of higher education in accounting: bachelor's degree, college in accounting, LCCI.
- IFRS basic knowledge.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- 1 year of experience working as an accountant in Cyprus.
- Attention to details, high level of accuracy.
- Good written and spoken English, greek would be an advantage.
- Experience in accounting programs.
