Spring Valley went global in 2022 and now has over 10 million players worldwide. And we continue to grow. At this point, the project has a lead who is engaged in the development and growth of the project and another senior developer. Our lead is moving in a new direction within the company, and we are looking for an experienced Lead Unity Developer, into whose careful hands we will transfer the development of the project, support, and scaling of the client side of the game. What we are looking for is an excellent knowledge of unity, experience in developing large sections of gameplay, or experience in building an architecture from scratch. In return, we can offer independence in decision-making, the opportunity to use your expertise on a live project, and the team’s openness to initiatives.

WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH
- Development of the game and the role of the Client-Side Architect, validation of all development solutions in terms of their impact on the stability/scalability/fault tolerance of the product.
- Monitoring the stability and quality of architecture and code.
- Finding weaknesses/potentially dangerous areas in the product architecture, defending the need for proposed improvements in terms of their impact on the business.
- Assessing the timeline of implementation of product features, and identifying implementation risks.
- Independent coding.
- Responsibility for quickly resolving incidents and eliminating their consequences (assisting team members with incoming requests).
In the long term: team development, training, increasing motivation, participation in staff recruitment, and forming a vision for team design.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- Excellent knowledge of Unity, C#, and Git
- 4+ years of experience developing games in Unity as a senior or lead of a small team.
- Experience in building the architecture of new games, experience in developing new features.
- Ability to understand other people's code.
- Willingness to engage in extensive communication with the team.
- Experience managing a technical team is desirable.
- Willingness to move to Serbia, Armenia, or another country as agreed upon with us - we will discuss the location with the team.
